We will be hosting Pre-Conference Training and Meeting Options

Such as:

Project Serve Trip Leader Training

Monday, February 6th from 2-9pm (with a break for dinner) and Tuesday, February 7th from 9am-12pm (lunch is not provided)

If you’re considering a Project Serve mission trip in the next two years, domestic or international, then this training is a valuable step for you to learn what it takes to put a trip together.  If the thought of doing a mission trip is overwhelming, then please come hear how we can assist you and make it much easier.  This training is also for those who would like to learn more about what Project Serve is and the benefits to your ministry and those being served.  We’ll look at mission trips in general and some philosophical reasons for doing them or not.  We’ll also talk about practical things such as what kind of students should go on a Project Serve trip, what is the most optimal destination and what kind of work is your team best suited for, plus a lot more.

If you need more information or have additional questions please call Guy LeCompte or Kelsey Ayers in the Project Serve office at the National Service Center.  We look forward to seeing you here in Denver.

Price: $25.00

Raiser’s Edge: Beyond the Basics

Description

Day 1: Home Page and Dashboards

Learn how to maximize efficiency by customizing your RE Home Page. Users will learn how to set up a customized home page including all the links to your most favorite and commonly completed tasks. Also learn how to create and use action reminders, and set up dashboards which allow you to quickly analyze quick summary reports.

Day 2: eReceipts

We will learn how to use the eReceiptstab in order to create and send gift receipts using email.  Knowledge from the previous day may be applied. If there is additional time remaining, we will learn how to perform database audits, and maintenance to ensure clean data and accurate information for mailings and screenings.

For this 2-day training it will help if users have basic knowledge of The Raiser’s Edge (navigating, records, and basic functionality), and are familiar with the basics of query and RE mail (if not, there are self-paced tutorials available online at Blackbaud.com 24/7 which you will want to preview prior to Midwinter).

*One-on-one times may be scheduled during Midwinter if 1) Users have specific training requests, or 2) YFC Staff are interested in learning more about RE and would like to schedule a virtual tour of the program.
