General Information

What is MidWinter? 
YFC MidWinter's goal is to provide a space for YFC Leaders to refresh their personal commitment to the Father, connect and celebrate with the YFC family, and have access to quality training with relevant content.

Who is invited to MidWinter? 
All YFC staff

Is there going to be scheduled free time?
Yes, we’ve built into the schedule a free afternoon, Thursday, February 8th from noon to 6 p.m.

Who are the General Session Speakers?

What Training Tracks will be offered?

What is there to do in Jacksonville? 
More information coming soon, but for now, you can check out Jacksonville's Tourism page.



How much should I plan on budgeting for each staff person to attend?
We estimate $1500 which would include hotel, registration, travel and meals.

What does my registration fee cover?
Registration fee covers the actual event only (see registration costs here). Hotel room, meals, travel expenses and any additional expenses are not included.

What are additional options that would cost extra?
There will be a limited number of Soul Care Appointment slots available. The cost is $55 for a 50 minute appointment with a licensed Christian Counselor or Pastoral Counselor. More information will be coming. 

Pre-conference options will also be available for additional costs. More information will be available on Conference tab, under "Pre-Conference"

There will also be opportunities for some excursions available during free-time for an additional cost. More information will be available in the coming weeks. 

There will be MidWinter apparel available with registration for an additional cost.

Are the meals provided?
The meals are not provided but we will recommend some nearby restaurants that are accessible from the hotel.



When will registration be open? 
Registration will be open on July 3, 2017.

Can I register more than one person at a time?
Yes, you can register an entire group at one time.



How do I get around Jacksonville?
There are walkable destinations, water taxi, Sky Way (weekdays complementary just behind the hotel), Lyft/Uber, and taxis.

What are the time parameters for my flight?
The airport is approximately 30 minutes from the Lexington Hotel. Please plan to arrive for registration beginning at 3pm on Tuesday, February 6th. Your return flight can be scheduled any time after 2:00 p.m., the conference ends at noon on Friday the 9th. 

What are my options for getting to the venue from the airport?
Uber/Lyft/Taxi: the distance between the airport and the Lexington is 17 miles, taking approximately 30 minutes to drive.



Is there childcare available? 
While we would encourage you to come and participate fully in the MidWinter experience we realize that sometimes our children will be attending with us. We will be providing a “Family Room” separate from the general sessions which will broadcast all of the sessions for you to enjoy. There will not be drop-off childcare available.
